Located just a few minutes drive from our Elanora accommodation in South Gold Coast, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is known for taking good care and providing shelter to a great number of native Australian wildlife. Founded nearly six decades ago, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has since then welcomed so many visitors who are eager to learn and get up close the most fascinating animals.

The Sanctuary offers a number of amazing attractions that allow visitors to experience Australian wildlife encounters and witness mesmerizing Aboriginal performances. Holiday makers at our Currumbin family resort are allowed to feed the little Lorikeets and Kangaroos, cuddle the Koalas, get up close with deadly reptiles such as  Saltwater Crocodiles and snakes, and come across some of the most adorable marsupials. Tourists can also visit the new Currumbin Wildlife Hospital that provides free community health service for more than 5,000 injured, ailing and orphaned critters. Aside from interactive wildlife experience, guests can also take on a very exciting tree-tops ropes course at the Green Challenge Adventure Parc.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary also offers a night-time wildlife tour that showcases the marvellous Aboriginal Corroboree show. The night tour at the Sanctuary begins as staffs welcome guests with complimentary drinks and then later proceeds with a mouthwatering Aussie BBQ buffet. After dinner, you’ll be able to see wonderful nocturnal creatures such as the Tasmanian Devil as it becomes more active during at night time.
